Kiefer Waterman

Kiefer Waterman is an Artist living in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelors in Fine arts with a focus on drawing and panting. He works from his studio in Walker's point and has shown work nationally. 

His main focuses are ants, societies, human sexual nature, and the females role in art and society both historically and contemporarily. 

His paintings, drawings, and collages bring together a wide range of ideas about the human condition using complex symbology, a tumultuous color palette, and a range of stylistic approaches. He is influenced by EO Wilson, Picasso, Cezanne, Judy Chicago, Manet, Aldo Leopold,  Aboriginal art, Feminism, conservationism, and the ants.
